In needlepoint, bargello involves the building up of distinctive patterns from rows of straight stitches, arranged in a zigzag line. Popular in the 1970s, this modern looking needlepoint is making a come back. Suitable for beginners and more experienced crafters alike.

Bargello is an Italian word and derives from a set of chairs in the Bargello Museum in Florence that were embroidered with this stitch.

This kit is designed for adults; children will also enjoy making it, but adult supervision is required.
